Storms Will Come

A cloudy day, despair it brings,

The melancholy songs it sings,

It blankets you in hidden hope

Discouraging your will to cope.

The sun reveals its brilliant rays,

Unraveling much brighter days,

Reminding us the time is near

To do away with mounting fear.

Though storms may come, the thunder calms,

And we hear melodies of Psalms,

It rains down blessings, cool and blue;

And blooms inside our souls anew.

Ominous clouds don't signal end,

Sometimes the rain can be our friend

With patience comes His saving grace,

The sun will shine upon your face.
